The 1992–93 Phoenix Suns season was the 25th season for the Phoenix Suns in the National Basketball Association. == Season summary == === Off-season === This season was most memorable for the Suns acquiring controversial All-Star power forward Charles Barkley from the Philadelphia 76ers, signing free agent Danny Ainge, and hiring Paul Westphal as their new head coach. This was also the team's first season playing at their new arena, the America West Arena, which had a seating capacity of 19,023. For the season, the Suns redesigned their primary logo, replacing the color purple with a different shade of purple, black and light orange to their color scheme of orange and white.

The team's primary logo featured an orange basketball as a light orange streaking sun in a purple box, above the city and team name in purple letters; the logo would be known as the "Streaking Sun" logo.
